Coffee House Lane - new to the Thomond Bar
You might be surprised that Waterford boasted one of the first and finest coffee houses in Ireland, dating back to 1690. Situated in Coffee House Lane (the name no doubt inspired by the house), the most progressive of Waterford society met to sample the latest 'product' from the new world. Coffee beans were brewed in small batches, by John Aikenhead, then to ensure a rich, premium taste.

The only place in Cork for real pub grub and friendly service. Excellent food and reasonable prices. Large menu that caters for meat, fish eaters and vegetarians
Myself and my husband were in there today, we have been there before and the food, the drink, the staff and the atmosphere was the same brilliant. We love all the Munster rugby bits. Its the only place we eat in the city. We will be back.
